The NIC’s Campus Support Model strikes against a one-size-fits-all approach. This model prepares the community to take action and empowers interfraternal leaders toward peer governance, helping your community move toward the vision for fraternity communities — engendering trust and confidence in the fraternity experience.

PARTNERING FOR LASTING POSITIVE CHANGE IN FRATERNITY COMMUNITIES

The NIC’s Campus Support Model provides direct support, resources and services to IFC officers, representatives, advisors and alumni to further the health and success of fraternity communities. When your IFC pays its annual NIC dues, it will receive access to the IFC Insurance Program and these basic level services: 

• Access to online IFC Resource Library 
• Access to coaching and support calls with NIC staff 
• Crisis communication support 
• Subject matter expert consultation on accountability and conduct, belonging and inclusion, health, safety and wellness and/or recruitment 
• Official IFC logo customized with school colors 
• PRIME registration for IFC President | Learn more about PRIME 
• IFC Academy registration for up to eight IFC officers | Learn more about IFC Academy 
• NIC staff guidance for creation and ongoing support of alumni IFC and fraternity alumni engagement 
• Guidance and best practices for council operations and tools to streamline IFC operations

NIC Member Organizations are governed by Standards that are expected of all member fraternities. One of these Standards is that member organization chapters must be a member of a dues-paying Interfraternity Council that is aligned with the IFC Standard Operating Procedures. 

CAMPUS SUPPORT PACKAGES

Councils can also bundle additional programs and resources as a campus support package. These packages are inclusive of your IFC dues (insurance premium is still paid separately), are fully customizable to meet your needs, provide maximum value for your fraternity community at a reduced cost and can include:  

• Bringing IMPACT or LAUNCH programs to your campus 
• Advisor Training or Alumni Housing Summit  
• Discounted UIFI scholarships  
• An in-person visit or virtual council consultation
