A force for positive change

A force for positive change

In response to Theta Tau incident at Syracuse University:

Like so many, we are disgusted by the hateful demonstration of racism, homophobia, anti-Semitism and misogyny displayed by Theta Tau at Syracuse University. While Theta Tau co-ed professional engineering fraternity is not in any way affiliated with the North-American Interfraternity Conference nor is this chapter a member of the Syracuse Interfraternity Council, the actions of this group serve as another reminder that incidents of hate are occurring all too often at colleges across the country.

Campus communities should never be a place for discrimination, and we are calling on fraternity members to be a force for positive change. With their fraternal values at heart, fraternity men should be leaders in creating inclusive, safe communities across campus. We must come together to address the deeply rooted problems in university culture and society.
